Srinagar, Nov 15: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed profound grief over the tragic accidental blast at Nowgam Police Station that claimed nine lives, including police and revenue officials, and left more than thirty people injured.
Javid Ahmad Tenga, President KCCI, said the entire business community stands in solidarity with the bereaved families. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to those who lost their loved ones and prayed for strength to bear the irreparable loss.
He said the incident has caused considerable damage to property in the surrounding areas, adding to the hardship of poorer sections during the ongoing winter. He urged the authorities to provide timely relief and assistance so that the immediate needs of affected households are met without delay.
KCCI also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and hoped that adequate medical care and support are ensured. The Chamber said the heartbreaking tragedy has cast a deep shadow over society and reaffirmed its solidarity with all those affected.
