New Delhi, holds the key to the required solutions: Ishfaq Jabbar

Ganderbal, Apr 26 : Jammu Kashmir United Movement on Friday held a workers meet at Bakshi Mohalla Safapora and Malshahibagh Ganderbal.
The meeting was presided over by the party’s President Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar. Among others who were present and spoke in the meetings include Senior Leader G A Saloora, Haji Faiz Ahmad Bhat, DDC Ganderbal C Moulvi Mohd Yousuf, Youth President Ganderbal Sajad Ahmad Ganie, Spokesperson Muzaffer Ahmad , Bilal Ahmad , Haji Gh Mohd Wani Aqib Ahmad , Mohd Amin , Gh Qadir Mehrajdin and other senior party workers.
According to a statement issued here, JKUM President in his address, underscored the paramount importance of grassroots connection and urged urged party workers to deepen their connections with the communities in their respective areas. He emphasized the importance of genuine engagement, calling upon the workers to listen attentively to the concerns and aspirations of the people and to serve as their advocates on the ground.
Jabbar expressed that the infrastructural needs of Safapora have been neglected by successive governments whereas much more is needed to be done.
Jabbar said the party is committed for overall development of Jammu and Kashmir. The leadership has always reiterated its position for improving the quality of life in villages with regards to the initiation of developmental projects,” he said.
Witnessing first hand the grievances of the people, including the lack of basic amenities such as electricity, water, employment opportunities and infrastructure development, Jabbar recognized the urgency of addressing these issues at the district and UT level.
On the occasion Jabbar said that New Delhi holds the resources and capacity to resolve the problems and challenges the J&K is facing, especially post August 5, 2019.
Jabbar further said that his party will support those political parties who will get our youth and elders released from the jails, who will give free units of electricity, talk about POTA, PSA, AFSPA etc we are with them, the statement added.
