Srinagar, Nov 11:
The Jammu and Kashmir Hotels and Restaurant Association (JKHARA) has strongly condemned the devastating car blast at Delhi’s historic Red Fort, which claimed ten innocent lives and left several others injured. The Association described the incident as an inhumane and highly deplorable act that has deeply shocked the nation.
In a statement issued today, JKHARA President Babar Chowdhary expressed profound sorrow and anguish over the tragic loss of lives. He said the hospitality fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir stands in solidarity with the victims and their families during this painful time.
“This barbaric act is an assault on humanity and peace,” Chowdhary said, adding that such incidents have no place in a civilised society. He urged the Government of India to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime are identified and brought to justice without delay.
Chowdhary extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured. “Our hearts go out to the victims and their loved ones. We share their grief and pray for courage and patience to those affected by this senseless act of violence,” he said.
Reiterating the Association’s commitment to peace and harmony, Chowdhary appealed to citizens across the country to remain united and resilient in the face of such challenges. He said that no act of terror can weaken the collective resolve of the people to uphold the values of humanity, compassion, and national unity.
The statement concluded with prayers for the departed souls and an appeal for lasting peace and an end to all forms of violence.
