Srinagar: The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Kashmir Chapter, has expressed profound sorrow and anguish over the tragic loss of innocent lives in the barbaric blast at Chandni Chowk, Delhi.
President Farhan Kitab said the entire trade and hospitality fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir stands in firm solidarity with the victims and their families during this painful time.
“The tragic news of the demise of our young fellow trader, Shri Amar Kataria ji of DV Medicos, Bhagirath Palace, in yesterday’s deadly blast is extremely painful,” Kitab said. “This barbaric act is an assault on humanity and peace. Such heinous crimes have no place in a civilised society.” He urged the Government of India to ensure that those responsible are swiftly identified and brought to justice without delay.
The CAIT Kashmir Chapter extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured. “Our hearts go out to the victims and their loved ones. We share their grief and pray for courage and strength to those affected by this senseless act of violence,” he added.

The people of Jammu and Kashmir have suffered enough and reject all forms of terror and hatred. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the families in grief and support every effort to restore peace and justice.”
Reiterating the Association’s unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and national harmony, Kitab appealed to citizens across the country to remain united and resilient in the face of such challenges. “No act of terror can weaken our collective resolve to uphold the values of humanity, compassion, and brotherhood,” he affirmed.
