Srinagar, Dec 18:
In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to declare the results of the annual regular 2025 Class 10 examinations by the first week of January next year.
This will be followed by the declaration of Class 12 results in the third week of January and Class 11 results by the end of the month.
Secy JKBOSE, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, said the board is planning to announce the results of all three classes within January. He expressed confidence that the timelines will be met as scheduled.
“We are hopeful of declaring the Class 10 examination results in the first week of January, followed by the Class 12 results after about 10 days,” he said, adding that the Class 11 results are expected by the end of January.
The Secretary said the Class 12 examinations concluded on December 9, while the Class 11 examinations ended on December 13. The Class 10 examinations concluded in the last week of November.
“After theory examinations, students appear in external practical exams. It takes some time to collect award sheets, particularly for vocational subjects, which have a different evaluation setup,” he explained.
He further said that the board is closely monitoring the process to ensure adherence to the set timeline. “We are on track, and the concerned staff and officers are strictly following the schedule,” he added.
This year, the annual regular 2025 examinations for Classes 10 to 12 commenced in November. JKBOSE had also announced a 15 percent relaxation for students of Classes 10, 11, and 12 in view of academic disruptions faced during the session.
