Srinagar, Apr 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club has strongly condemned the inhumane target killing of tourists in Pahalgam. In a powerful statement, Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya, Chairman of the J&K Hoteliers Club, expressed profound grief and outrage over the tragic incident.
“It is an act against humanity and highly condemnable. No words are strong enough to denounce such inhumane actions against tourism,” said Mr. Chaya.
“This violence is not only a brutal attack on innocent lives but also a direct assault on our economy, which relies heavily on the safety and well-being of visitors. Such acts threaten the livelihood of thousands of people connected with the hospitality and tourism sectors and tarnish the image of Jammu and Kashmir as a peaceful tourist destination.”
The J&K Hoteliers Club expresses its solidarity with the victims and their families and assures that it stands ready to provide all possible help and support to tourists visiting the region. “Our members are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of every tourist, and we are actively coordinating with relevant authorities to enhance security and assistance,” added Mr. Chaya.
The Club urges the government to take immediate and strict action to ensure lasting peace and security, restore confidence among visitors, and protect Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism industry.
