Srinagar: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) has hailed the historic achievement of the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for advancing to their maiden final of the prestigious Ranji Trophy.
Jammu and Kashmir scripted history by defeating Bengal cricket team by six wickets at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground on Wednesday, securing their place in the final for the first time ever.
President, KCC&I, Javid Tenga, in a statement, congratulated the players, coaching staff, and the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association for the remarkable feat.
“This historic victory is a proud moment not only for the cricketing fraternity but for the entire Jammu and Kashmir. The team has demonstrated resilience, discipline, and exceptional talent throughout the tournament. Advancing to the Ranji Trophy final is a landmark achievement that reflects the immense potential of our youth,” Tenga said.
He added that such milestones bring positive recognition to the region and inspire thousands of young sportspersons to pursue excellence.
