Srinagar, Nov 11: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) has strongly condemned the Red Fort blast, describing it as an inhumane and cowardly act.
In a statement, the Chamber expressed profound sorrow over the incident, which claimed several innocent lives and left many others injured. It extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The CCIK said the business community of Jammu and Kashmir stands in solidarity with all those affected by the tragedy, emphasizing that such acts of terror are intolerable and those responsible must be brought to justice. “There can be no justification for the killing of innocent people,” the statement said.
The Chamber urged the Government of India to ensure the safety and security of citizens and appealed to both the Centre and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi to deliver justice to the families who lost their loved ones.
Members of the CCIK also held a condolence meeting and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant strength and patience to the bereaved families.
