Bandipora, Oct 1: In a moment of pride for north Kashmir, Anayat Bashir Sheikh from Bandipora has cleared the highly competitive Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examination, earning a place among India’s top statisticians.
Sheikh’s achievement has sparked celebrations in his hometown, with locals hailing his success as an inspiration for Kashmiri youth aiming for national-level competitive exams. “It is a matter of great pride for our area. Anayat has shown that with dedication and discipline, our young generation can excel on the biggest platforms,” said a resident of Bandipora.
