Srinagar- A 27-year youth was killed after being hit by a train at Nowgam railway station in the outskirts of Srinagar on Friday.
Official sources said, “A 27-year-old youth identified as Feroz Ahmad Malla, resident of Samarbugh Lasjan, was walking on the track when a train hit him at Nowgam Railway Station.”
Malla was immediately taken to SMHS hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
While confirming the incident, a Railway official urged the people to avoid walking along the railway tracks.
“We humbly urge the public to avoid walking along the railway tracks to avoid any mishap,” the official said.
