Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNC): Minister Satish Sharma on Thursday expressed hope for the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley, stating that while the matter may not be entirely within his control, he sincerely wishes to see their dignified comeback.
Speaking to reporters, Sharma as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) said that as far as Kashmiri Pandits are concerned, he hopes they must return to Kashmir, but unfortunately the issue is beyond his direct control.
“I genuinely want them to come back. We will not allow Pakistan’s nefarious designs to succeed. We want the country to remain united,” he said.
The minister further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, efforts should be made to build a better nation and a stronger Jammu and Kashmir.
“For that, all of us will have to work together with dedication and unity,” he added. (KNC)
