Srinagar, Dec 20 (KNO): The body of an unidentified woman was recovered from water at the Dhobighat area of Hazratbal in Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that locals spotted the body floating in the water and immediately informed the police. A police team from Hazratbal Police Station reached the spot and retrieved the body.
He said the woman appears to be around 39–40 years old. The body has been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and identification.
