Srinagar: Adil Hassan Lone (29), a resident of Safakadal Srinagar has been passionate about acting since his childhood.

Delivering different monologues was an easy task for him and his acting talent earned him fame during his childhood.

“I would spend hours in front of the mirror imitating scenes from any Bollywood movie. Even my father was impressed by my acting and he bought me a seven feet mirror on which I used to experiment with my expression,” Lone said

He put a lot of effort into his profession and explored every option, but he was unable to score his big break in the entertainment world.

“I didn’t have a godfather in the television business. In a leather factory in Delhi, my father works as an artisan. I showed my portfolio to numerous well-known actors and producers, but nothing was successful,” he claimed.

Realising many actors like might be going through similar struggles, Lone and his friends established a production house in Srinagar to assist struggling artists in achieving their goals.

“Saqib Beigh, Shahbaz Mir, and I worked together to start Panin Production, our production company. I perform in the songs that Saqib, a singer and musician, writes. Since it is only the beginning, we are determined to adding more aspiring performers, he said. We have also included many more actors.

Lone was confident that their effort would produce the best actors in the valley. “Without a mentor, I learnt acting on the streets of Delhi. Here, we are prepared to assist our aspiring performers by giving them acting lessons and casting them in music videos. The only things Kashmiris require is assistance and encouragement,” he claimed.

The production company has created numerous music videos over the past two years, all of which have gone viral on social media.

“Even in Kashmir, our songs Sitam, Roosh, and Waad Saryoo became anthems. On social media, thousands of people have liked and shared each of these tracks. We have a few more projects in the pipeline that Kashmiris will find appealing,” he added.

Lone claimed that after making music videos, they are now concentrating on long and short films. “In order to finish these projects, we need a little help. These movies, which showcase our local budding performers, will undoubtedly make a difference, he said.
