Goa: Taleem Group of School launched its very own online news channel, Taleem News Network on Saturday, with an aim to provide a journalism platform for its students.
On Saturday, students started with campus reporting by reporting on the school’s sports day. The Students Ziya Kausar and Mehboob Khan conducted various interviews with parents, PTA members, management members, and even the sarpanch.
Mehek Khan from standard did the news anchoring for the news channel.
Speaking about Taleem News Network, the in-charge of the media cell, Shaikh Nawaz M Karol said that Taleem News Network is a media platform that will provide news, information, and entertainment specifically targeted towards students. The channel covers a wide range of topics that are relevant to students, including current events, campus news, sports, and other activities.
“The news channel aims to inform, engage, and entertain students by delivering timely and relevant content that resonates with their interests and concerns. It may feature a mix of video segments, podcasts, and social media updates to reach a wide audience and engage students on multiple platforms,” he added.
Karol further said, the channel will also offer opportunities for students to get involved and contribute to the content creation process, such as by submitting articles or video segments, participating in interviews or debates, or helping to produce and edit content.
Overall, a Taleem News Network will serve as a valuable resource for students to stay informed and engaged in their campus community, while also providing a platform for them to share their perspectives and ideas with a wider audience. We will be creating the future journalists, Karol concluded.
