Srinagar, Mar 6: Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) has welcomed the appointment of Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, as Administrative Secretary,Tourism Department.
In a statement, TAAK President Farooq Kuthoo said Dr Syed Abid Rasheed’s appointment is a welcome step as the dynamic officer is cable of handling the top job of the tourism sector.
Kuthoo assured him of full support from travel and hospitality sector stakeholders for the promotion of tourism.
TAAK also hailed the contribution of Sarmad Hafeez, IAS, in tourism stating his leadership has helped the tourism sector reach newer heights.
