Srinagar, Feb 8 (KNC): Four persons were injured after a scuffle broke out between two groups of local boys during a cricket game at Alsafa Market in Sariabala area of Magarmal Bagh, Srinagar, on Sunday, officials said.
An official told Kashmir News Corner that the altercation erupted while the groups were playing cricket on the road. During the scuffle, four individuals, aged between 17 and 30 years, sustained injuries.
“All the injured were immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital for medical treatment,” the official said, adding that their condition is stated to be stable.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Police Station Shergari and have taken cognizance of the matter.
Further investigation into the incident is underway. (KNC)
