Srinagar, Jan 6: Following a significant snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on January 5, 2025, particularly affecting the valley, restoration efforts are in full swing to mitigate the impact. Omar Abdullah, Chief minister of J&K took to social media to update the public on the ongoing situation.

Snow clearance operations are prioritized, focusing on roads to ensure accessibility and safety. Two ministers, @sakinaitoo and Javaid Dar, along with advisor @nasirisogami, are scheduled to tour the affected districts. Their aim is to assess the situation on the ground and oversee the restoration efforts firsthand.
