New Delhi, Nov 20: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday arrested four more prime accused in the November 10 blast outside the Red Fort in Delhi, taking the total arrests in the high-profile terror case to six.

The latest arrests were made in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, where the accused were taken into custody on production orders issued by the District Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court. According to the NIA, those arrested have been identified as Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag, Dr Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow, and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay of Shopian.

NIA investigations have revealed that all four played crucial roles in orchestrating the blast that killed several innocent civilians and left many others injured. The agency said their involvement has been established through technical and material evidence gathered during the probe.

Earlier, the NIA had arrested two others—Amir Rashid Ali, the registered owner of the vehicle used in the explosion, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who allegedly provided technical support to the terrorist responsible for the attack. Both continue to undergo extensive interrogation as part of efforts to uncover the entire network behind the blast, registered under case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.

The Union Home Ministry handed over the investigation to the NIA soon after the attack. The agency is coordinating with multiple state police forces to identify, track and apprehend every member of the terrorist module involved in the incident, which has sent shockwaves across the country.
