Srinagar, Dec 5 (KNC): Peoples Democratic party leader and Member Legislative assembly MLA Pulwama, Waheed-ur-Rehman Para, has written to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, urging immediate approval of the long-pending age-relaxation proposal for JKCCE 2025 aspirants.

In his letter addressed to the LG as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Para highlighted that thousands of youth have been preparing for the Combined Competitive Examination scheduled for December 7, yet remain uncertain due to the absence of a final decision on age relaxation.

Para noted that the government has already completed all procedural formalities and forwarded the proposal to Raj Bhawan, but the lack of communication has caused “deep anxiety and distress” among candidates who lost crucial preparation years due to unavoidable circumstances.

He stressed that a timely approval would not only resolve an administrative concern but also restore confidence among the youth. “A positive decision before the exam would reflect fairness, compassion, and sensitivity towards aspiring candidates who have already faced multiple setbacks,” Para said.

The MLA appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to grant approval without further delay, enabling thousands of candidates to appear in the examination “with clarity, confidence, and a sense of justice.” (KNC)
