KTA  Meets New RTO Kashmir, Discusses Key Transport Issues

SRINAGAR, Dec 16:  A delegation of the Kashmir Trade Alliance (KTA) today met with the newly appointed Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kashmir, Qazi Irfan, to extend congratulations and discuss critical transportation-related matters.

Led by KTA President Aijaz Shahdhar, the delegation commended the RTO and traffic authorities for their efforts to curb underage driving and take strict action against traffic violations. The meeting provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue on improving transport services in the region.

During the interaction, Shahdhar emphasized the alliance’s support for the new RTO and highlighted key concerns affecting local traders and citizens. “We welcome RTO Kashmir and discussed important issues regarding driving license issuance and the time-consuming process of vehicle registration transfers,” said Shahdhar. “We urged him to expedite these essential services to reduce delays.”
The delegation, which included prominent KTA office bearers and members such as Sabit Ali, Manindar Singh Bhasin, Sajad Hyder, Fayaz Nadaf, Owais Khan, Ajaz Sheikh, Mohd Altaf, and Nasir Hussain, was warmly received by RTO Qazi Irfan, who listened attentively to their representations.
RTO Kashmir expressed appreciation for the KTA’s constructive approach and assured the delegation of his commitment to addressinag their concerns and improving transport-related services in the region.
