Srinagar, June 28: President, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Javid Ahmad Tenga on his own and on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Chamber feels great pleasure in convening hearty Eid Greeting to Muslim brethren across the World in general and to the Muslims of J&K in particular with a wish and prayer for sustained peace and unity.

At the same time the Chamber urges the Hon’ble LG administration to ensure ; (i) uninterrupted power/water supply (ii) establishment of temporary Qurabani Skin Collection Centers to coordinate with the mobile skin/hide collection arrangement put in place by the Srinagar Municipal Corporation(SMC) and the same arrangement should be provided at Rural / Town areas committees’ jurisdictions (iii) Maintenance of smooth vehicle traffic movement to avoid traffic jams; And (iv) availability of Eid related eatable/ consumable (sweets, bakeries, muttons chicken milk and cold drinks etc) on genuine prices with intensified control and monitoring over the profiteers/ hoarders.

The Chamber also appeals to the people in general to help to maintain civic pride by keeping the environment clean with disposing of the garbage through proper municipal services instead of dumping the same on roads, lanes, by lanes, drains, or River Jhelum or other water bodies.
