Srinagar, Oct 6— The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has strongly condemned the recent inflammatory remarks made by Mahant Narsinghanand about Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The Chamber has expressed deep outrage, stating that the remarks have not only hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community but also offended all those who respect religious beliefs and revered figures, including prophets and saints from different faiths.
In its statement, the KCCI emphasized that the comments appear to be deliberately aimed at provoking sentiments, inciting hatred, and sowing discord between communities. The Chamber has called for immediate accountability and legal action against Mahant Narsinghanand, who is reportedly a repeat offender with several cases already registered against him for similar hate-filled rhetoric.
The KCCI stressed that law enforcement agencies must act swiftly to ensure that such individuals are prevented from engaging in activities that threaten communal harmony and peace. They urged authorities to take decisive steps to prevent further provocations that could disturb the peaceful coexistence of communities in the region.
