Srinagar: After achieving numerous titles including the recent MR India 2023, Aans Jeelani, a body building athlete from Srinagar is eyeing the prestigious Mr. World title.
His entry in the international competition is being supported by World Fitness Federation led by its president Jammu and Kashmir chapter Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khan. Jeelani, who began his bodybuilding career in 2010, has steadily risen through the ranks, earning numerous accolades along the way.
Jeelani’s dedication and hard work have paid off, as he has clinched several significant titles, including Mr. Kashmir 2021, NPC Goa 2023, and most notably, Mr. India 2023.

He also bagged Mr Delhi 2017 and Mr North Kashmir 2018. His success has not only brought him personal glory but also put Kashmir on the map in the competitive world of bodybuilding. “Winning Mr. India was a dream come true, but my journey doesn’t end here,” said Jeelani.
“I am now focused on representing India on the global stage and bringing home the Mr. World title.” To achieve this feat, Jeelani is continuously focusing on his training and diet. “The competition is nearing and it requires immense hard work and discipline. I am hopeful for bagging this tile and for that I have to undergo rigorous training and diet. I want to be the first athlete from Jammu and Kashmir to bag this prestigious title,” he said.
