Srinagar: In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, the “Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union” and “The New Kashmir Fruit Association” extend their thanks to the Government of India and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir (Union Territory) for the elevation of the Principal Secretary (Additional Chief Secretary) to the prestigious post of Chief Secretary.

The elected umbrella body of all Fruit Growers Associations in the Valley, along with the Fruit Marketing Complex in Parimpora, Srinagar, acknowledges the significant efforts made by the Chief Secretary in his previous role as the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture Production Department, J&K (UT). The Chief Secretary’s dedication to the promotion of the Horticulture Sector in Jammu and Kashmir has not gone unnoticed.

The union looks forward with optimism to the continued commitment and contributions of the Chief Secretary in his new capacity. They extend hearty congratulations on his elevation to the position of Chief Secretary, expressing hopes that he will address any remaining challenges and bottlenecks hindering the progress of the Horticulture Sector in Jammu and Kashmir (Union Territory).

This acknowledgement reflects the union’s anticipation that the Chief Secretary’s tenure will bring about further advancements and support for the flourishing Horticulture Sector, a vital component of the region’s economy. The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union and The New Kashmir Fruit Association remain committed to working collaboratively with the government to enhance the prosperity of the horticultural community in the Union Territory.
