Srinagar, Apr 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Hotels and Restaurants Association (JKHARA) unequivocally condemns the recent terror attack targeting tourists in Pahalgam’s Baisaran area.
In a solemn statement, JKHARA President, Mr. Babar Chowdhary, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic and senseless act, saying:
“We strongly condemn the tragic and senseless incident that occurred in Pahalgam. Such acts of violence have no place in a society that strives for peace, unity, and mutual respect. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this deeply painful time.”
Mr. Chowdhary further urged the authorities to act swiftly, stating,
“We call upon the authorities to bring those responsible to justice swiftly and urge all communities to stand united against hate and terror in all its forms. Pahalgam, known for its scenic beauty and harmony, must not be marred by such darkness.”
JKHARA appeals to every citizen to come together in the face of tragedy and to reaffirm a collective commitment to peace, humanity, and justice.
