Srinagar, Nov 10: In a significant announcement, the Jammu and Kashmir government has established new age limits for candidates appearing in the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, setting different thresholds for various categories of aspirants.

According to the official notification, open merit candidates must not exceed 35 years of age to be eligible for the examination. The government has provided relaxation for reserved and in-service candidates, setting their upper age limit at 37 years.

For physically challenged candidates, an additional year of relaxation has been granted, with the maximum age limit set at 38 years.

The Combined Competitive Examination is a prestigious recruitment process in Jammu and Kashmir, serving as the gateway for candidates seeking to enter the civil services of the Union Territory.

Officials believe these age limits have been carefully calibrated to ensure a balance between providing adequate opportunities for aspirants while maintaining the professional efficiency of the administrative services.

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility according to these newly announced age criteria before applying for the CCE-2024.

For more details about the examination pattern, syllabus, and application process, candidates are encouraged to visit the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.
