Mumbai, Dec 1: The Biz Reporter confirms that actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru have officially tied the knot, putting an end to days of speculation surrounding their relationship. The couple got married on Monday morning in an intimate ceremony attended by a select group of close friends and family.
According to sources, the wedding took place early in the morning at the Ling Bhairavi Temple located inside the Isha Yoga Centre. “There were around 30 guests present. Samantha wore a red saree for the wedding,” the source said.
Rumours about the couple’s impending marriage surfaced late Sunday night, further fueled by a cryptic Instagram story shared by Raj’s ex-wife, Sshyamali De, who wrote, “Desperate people do desperate things.” The post sparked widespread speculation on social media, especially since Raj and Sshyamali had reportedly divorced in 2022.
Talk of Samantha and Raj’s growing closeness began circulating in early 2024. Over the past year, the actor made their bond increasingly public, frequently posting pictures with the director on her social media accounts.
Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The two parted ways four years after their wedding, after which Naga Chaitanya married actor Sobhita Dhulipala.
With the ceremony now complete, the couple is yet to issue an official statement, but the confirmation of their marriage has already set social media abuzz.
