Srinagar: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has announced the reappointment of Mr. A P Vicky Shaw as Chair of its Kashmir Region for an unprecedented fourth consecutive term — a testament to his outstanding leadership and enduring contribution to the region’s business ecosystem.
The announcement was made by Mr. Rajeev Juneja, National President of PHDCCI, during the Chamber’s landmark 120th Annual Session. Mr. Juneja, who also serves as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mankind Pharma, lauded Mr. Shaw’s pivotal role in advancing trade and industry in Jammu & Kashmir.
A distinguished entrepreneur, Mr. Vicky Shaw is a leading figure in Jammu & Kashmir’s business community. He heads The Shaw Art Palace, a prestigious handicraft enterprise with a heritage spanning over a century. Beyond business, Mr. Shaw has made his mark in sports administration, having served as President of the Professional Golfers Association of India for eight years.
Under Mr. Shaw’s dynamic leadership, PHDCCI Kashmir has organized several flagship initiatives and strengthened policy advocacy with the government. His stewardship has positioned the Chamber as the most credible and influential voice of the business community in the region, championing key issues affecting trade, industry, and entrepreneurship.
