Srinagar, March 6: Sixteen candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, bringing pride to the Union Territory and inspiring aspiring civil servants across the region.
According to the results declared by the UPSC, Suvan Sharma secured the highest rank among candidates from Jammu and Kashmir by securing All India Rank (AIR) 148. Towseef Ganie secured AIR 254, followed by Ritika at AIR 456 and Sooyash Shivam at AIR 572.
Muneeb Parrah secured AIR 581, while Ghulam Din achieved AIR 683. Dwarka Gaadhi secured AIR 721 and Akash obtained AIR 747. Koh E Safa secured AIR 763, while Yasaar secured AIR 811.
Abhishek secured AIR 820 and Pankaj achieved AIR 856. Mohammad Ajaz secured AIR 869, followed by Azhar at AIR 886. Sarfraz secured AIR 936, while Irfan secured AIR 957 in the prestigious examination.
The Civil Services Examination conducted annually by the Union Public Service Commission is one of the most competitive examinations in the country and serves as the gateway for recruitment to top administrative services including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service and Indian Foreign Service.
The success of the candidates from Jammu and Kashmir has been widely appreciated by educators, civil society members and aspirants, who described the achievement as a testament to the growing academic excellence and determination of youth from the region.
