6 IAS, 3 IPS shifted to J&K; Syed Abid Rashid IAS, Baseer ul Haq IAS, Santosh D Vaidya IAS, SSP Shobit D Saksena IPS transfered out of J&K
New Delhi, Jan 4 (KNC): The Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday ordered a large-scale transfer of IAS and IPS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre, effecting changes across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Delhi and several other Union Territories and States.
According to an official order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Government of India, with the approval of the competent authority, the transfers have been ordered with immediate effect and until further orders.
Among IAS officers, Ashwani Kumar (1992 batch) has been transferred from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir, while Sanjeev Khirwar (1994) has been moved from Ladakh to Delhi. Santosh D Vaidya (1998) has been shifted from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi, and Padma Jaiswal (2003) from Puducherry to Delhi.
Shurbir Singh (2004) has been transferred from Delhi to Ladakh, while R Alice Vaz (2005) moves from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir.
Yashpal Garg (2008) from Arunachal Pradesh and Sanjeev Ahuja (2008) from Goa have been posted to Delhi. Niraj Kumar (2010) and Syed Abid Rashid Shah (2012) have been transferred out of Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi and Chandigarh respectively.
While, Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary IAS 2015 has been shifted from Jammu and Kashmir to Ladakh.
Several other IAS officers from batches 2012 to 2020 have also been moved across Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar, Ladakh, Goa, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir as part of the reshuffle.
In the IPS cadre, Ajit Kumar Singla (2004) has been transferred from Puducherry to Delhi, while Mangesh Kashyap (2009) moves from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh. Rajiv Ranjan Singh (2010) has been posted from Delhi to Chandigarh, and Prashant Priya Gautam (2013) from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir while Shobhit D Saksena (2015) has been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi.
Several other IPS officers from batches 2013 to 2021 have also been shifted between Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Andaman & Nicobar and Puducherry.
